Use of the RHSbl Service

The RHSbl service is one of the unique services the AHBL offers. It is a list of domain names that spammers own and use in their UCE/UBE/spam. We do not list domain names that are not owned/operated by spammers, making this list very safe to use in checking against the From: address in e-mails.

While we do include some examples of how to use our service with popular mail servers below, you may have to contact the vendor of your mail server appliction for setup assistance if you run into problems.

New!
The AHBL now certifies the use of the RHSbl with SURBL plugins for spam link detection!

DNSbl zone name: rhsbl.ahbl.org

Format of queries:
Take the domain name to be checked, and prepend it to the zone name above.

Example query: joesmoe.com.rhsbl.ahbl.org

Please contact us before using by e-mailing admins@2mbit.com. If you are a large provider with many customers, or are planning to do more then 100,000 queries per day, you must contact us to confirm that this is ok. We may require you to setup your own AHBL mirror server locally to reduce the load on our systems.

Disclaimer: We can not, and will not be held responsible for any lost e-mail due to you using our list. By using our list, you explicitly agree to accept full responsibility for any actions that result due to the usage of our list.
