Abusive Hosts Blocking List

IRC network/server operators can now easily take advantage of our list in a no-nonsense fashion. Using a script such as the one here for Eggdrop in a major channel can help keep flooders and other annoying and abusive individuals from causing a problem.

DNSbl zone name: ircbl.ahbl.org

Format of queries:
Take IP address wishing to be checked, reverse the octets (1.2.3.4 becomes 4.3.2.1) and prepended to the zone above.

Example query: 2.0.0.127.ircbl.ahbl.org

If you are a large provider with many customers, or are planning to do more then 100,000 queries per day, you must contact us to confirm that this is ok. We may require you to setup your own AHBL mirror server locally to reduce the load on our systems.
